According to the survey United States which is one among the richest countries in the world has the highest rate of infant mortality. The census tells that once in every 43 hours a baby dies which is on of the highest rate. This rate is also indirectly connected to the racial factors where the numbers of child deaths happen in black dominated parts of the state or country. These deaths are unavoidable because the cost associated with saving of a premature infant is very high. This high death rate is also because of the poor nutritional status of the pregnant women.
